Classroom Guidelines:
Jaguar Team

The transition from elementary school to middle school is a big one, but it does not have to be a hard one. Observing the following Jaguar guidelines for classroom success will make your middle school experience a positive one.
1. Follow all rules and policies outlined in the Willowcreek student handbook.
Use your planner!
2. Be prompt to class.
3. Be prepared.
4. Be polite to other students and adults.
5. Always do your best.
If students are having difficulty following these guidelines, teacher intervention may become necessary. The Jaguar teacher interventions listed below are not in any particular order. the teacher's professional judgment will determine which intervention will work best for you. Be advised that behavior that is extreme or dangerous to others will result in an immediate office referral.
Teacher Interventions:
1. Verbal redirection
2.Teacher-student private conversation
3.Team teachers' discussion
4. Team teachers-student private conversation
5. Parent phone call
6. Parent-teacher-student conference (office informed)
Our first and most important priority as a team is your education. Making friends and having fun is important, but it is NOT number one! Following the classroom guidelines will make is possible to learn AND enjoy our time together. Be the kind of student that allows that to happen for everyone!
