 Friday Focus

15 January 21

Hello Willowcreek Family.  This is Ms. Stewart and here is the Friday Focus message for this week .  Our mission is educating, empowering and inspiring excellence. There are 5 items of interest to follow.   If you miss any part of this message, visit the Willowcreek website, Peachjar or Facebook page where it will be printed in its entirety.

  1. Congratulations to this week’s Students of the Week!  6th graders:  Janiah Mabon, Julian Acevedo, Nicole Podlecki, Bradley Woodworth and Sydnee Hibbler.  7th graders:  Kristian Tapia, Avarie Hart and Lorelai Hammerstein.  8th graders:  Ivy Narug, Keegan Sisler and Elaine Lucas. Well Done All!
  2. Monday January 18 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  There will be no school for students on that day.  In honor of Dr. King and his life’s work, I urge you to find ways with your child to give back.  Volunteer to help clean up a park, have a socially distanced visit with a senior, or just take some time as a family to reflect on peace and our place in helping create that peace in our homes, our community, our country and our world.

3. Classes start at 7:25.  It is important that the students arrive to school in time  to get to their classes by 7:25.
4.Immunizations are past due.  The final day that students can come to school without being up to date on their immunizations is Feb 11.  Beginning Tuesday, February 16 any student who is not fully immunized will be excluded from school.  Do not wait to make your appointment.  Please contact the school clinic for more information.

5. There is still no charge for students to eat breakfast and lunch at school.  Students who wish to have breakfast can pick that up at various stations in the hallways and eat during their first mod class.

Thank you and have a great weekend.

Remember your 3 Ws.  Wear a mask.  Watch your distance. Wash your hands!
